Laurence Levy-Atkinson is a writer and poet, raised in Brisbane and based in Melbourne, Australia. His work deals with themes of alienation in modernity, the nature of names, and the duality of nostalgia.
He is the author of the poetry collection Too Much Night (2025) published by Vagabond Press.
Recipient of the Ada Cambridge Prize, Levy-Atkinson’s work has also been anthologised for the Anna Davidson Rosenberg Award, Ros Spencer Prize and the inaugural Oystercatcher Anthology published by Five Islands Press.
His work has appeared in various journals at home and abroad, including Cordite, Southerly, Australian Poetry Journal, Penumbra, Spineless Wonders, and Dust Poetry Magazine.
